With its humble, pared-down, essentialist forms, Plano makes for a table with natural ease and elegance. It has the looks as if hand-thrown on the wheel in some small batch ceramic studio and dipped by hand in a cool, white glaze. Made from Eco-Gres® recycled clay, the base material has a muted brown tone that is earthy, calming and plays well with every colour. The contrast of the unglazed, raw clay against its slightly transparent white, glazed body, gives the collection a raw, contemporary edge. Food looks fabulous on it.
